SHE'S COME UNDONE

SHE'S COME UNDONE

Acrylic on canvas,  2001  |  ~ 80 X 160"  |  1800.00

This is a work resulting from an invitation to participate in an exhibition regarding current events and Hera Gallery in Wakefield, RI.   By means of a storm over the countryside, the flag's undone  line and the wildly flying turn the national emblem into something that is whipping up heavens.

Difficult to see in this image, the star field, white and red stripes carry written descriptions of democracy from sources such as World Book Encyclopedia, currents events, and the Declaration of Independance.
