I wrote the collector who added this to her collection:

"Putting the image together was a lot of - (serious) - fun - (hadn't thought of it just that way before.) This is the view, north, from the studio window - over the sink - where I often stand - cleaning brushes, my finger nails, and more.  The large and beautiful evergreen - behind the (early spring) deciduous trees, is gone now - sacrificed for a wedding. Just three of the five trees in front of the evergreen remain."

"Just drawing March sustenance
Up from Mother Earth
Trees respond with limbs quite red."
